Upcoming Events Cultivating Understanding Through Meaningful Conversations
You spoke, and we listened! We’re excited to announce an encore of our “Cultivating Understanding Through Meaningful Conversations” training on October 24th in Bend, Oregon!
Remember the last time you needed to give information, feedback, or news to someone that you thought might be difficult or hard for the listener to hear? Did you hesitate to say it or sugar coat it? Did you opt for the more direct “honest truth” approach? Or perhaps you doubled-down on the data to prove your point. Either way, your well-intentioned message may not always be received as you expect, and that opens the door to misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and perceptions of unfair treatment. It may surprise you to learn that you may not be communicating your well-intentioned messages in a way that is meaningful to your listeners.
Personality communication styles, backgrounds, and life experiences play a critical and significant role in team dynamics and the leader-team member relationship. To develop your team and achieve maximum results, it is critical that you and your leadership team communicate in a way that shows you value, appreciate and respect team members. Organizations that actively leverage the power of strong interpersonal communication skills experience increased team cohesion and productivity, higher employee engagement, lower turnover, and reduced legal risk.
Join us for this engaging, interactive, and entertaining program as we: (1) explore our communication styles through DiSC; (2) teach participants 5 key guiding principles for creating a respectful and diverse workplace; (3) discover how much you might have in common with other participants; and (4) learn valuable and immediately actionable tips and strategies to enhance your working relationship with others. If your success depends on your ability to communicate and work well together, this program is for you!
As an added value to this training you are able to participate in a DiSC assessment and have this reviewed on the day of the training. This training, including the DiSC assessment, is $75.00 per registrant. The regular fee for the DiSC assessment is over $135 per person! What an opportunity!
What is a DiSC assessment? We are glad you asked! DiSC is a personal assessment tool used by more than one million people every year to help improve teamwork, communication, and productivity in the workplace. Organization and facilitators use these profiles as tools to help ignite cultural change, inspiring lasting behavior changes that positively shape their workforce.
