Job Summary

Working independently and collaboratively with others, this position plays an integral role in executing CRPUD’s mission, philosophy, and commitment to providing safe, reliable power to our community and exceptional service to our internal and external customers.

 

Monitor and coordinate community and government affairs for CRPUD. Develop, coordinate, and manage the implementation of projects and initiatives that advance CRPUD’s regulatory compliance objectives and goals.

Education and Experience –

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in any area of Business or Public Administration and a minimum of five years’ experience in government affairs; or an equivalent of relevant, progressive, and professional experience and education may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • At least two years’ experience in project management.
  • At least two years’ experience in giving presentations and participating in community and public relations events.
  • Demonstrated competency with personal computers in MS Office and in using available technology to perform assigned job duties.
  • Valid driver’s license. Other driving-related requirements may apply depending on the nature and scope of responsibilities associated with driving on behalf of CRPUD.

 

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or Business Management and five years’ combined experience in government affairs.
  • At least four years’ experience in project management.
  • At least four years’ experience in giving presentations and participating in community and public relations events.
  • At least two years’ working knowledge of the utility industry.

 

Salary Range

$39.56 - $56.42 per hour depending on qualifications
