For the first time ever in Oregon, the Security and Protection of Dams and Levees Workshop will be held April 1-2, 2025, in Portland, Oregon. This essential, no-cost training is specifically designed for emergency managers, infrastructure protection personnel, and those in communities located within a dam inundation zone.

With dams and levees playing a vital role in flood control, water supply, energy production, and recreation, understanding the risks, threats, and security measures is critical for protecting lives and property. This interactive, 101-level workshop provides attendees with the tools and knowledge needed to strengthen their emergency preparedness, response, and security planning.
