Joint Task Force on Artificial Intelligence Questionnaire
Earlier this year, the Oregon Legislature enacted House Bill 4153 (2024), establishing the Task Force on Artificial Intelligence to examine and identify terms and definitions of artificial intelligence (AI) used in technology-related fields and may be used for future legislation.

 

To assist with this charge, the Task Force wants your thoughts on a set of AI-related definitions currently under consideration. The draft terms and definitions are available here. The Task Force seeks information from organizations in different industries, including higher education, consumer advocacy groups, and businesses affected by AI policies that operate in Oregon.


Last week, a request was sent to participate in the questionnaire. This is a reminder email to complete the questionnaire by Friday, October 25th. If you already completed it, disregard this email. If you have not, please share your thoughts by completing the questionnaire by Friday.

If you represent an association and haven’t already forwarded this email, please forward the survey link to your members or other organizations in the state interested in AI legislation in Oregon.


How do you complete the questionnaire?

  • Submit and complete the questionnaire by Friday, October 25th.
  • You can stop and return to the questionnaire without losing your responses if you use the same computer.
  • It should take about 20 minutes, but you might need more or less time depending on your ability to access information and how you answer the questions.
