Special Districts Association of Oregon (SDAO) is searching for our next Claims Services Specialist within our Property Casualty Claims Department. Not only does SDAO support Oregon’s special districts (specific types of local governments), but we also are the administrators for the Special Districts Insurance Services and Property and Casualty for Education risk pools. In a nutshell, we assist special district and school district members with underwriting their insurance coverages, processing claims, and helping prevent loss with risk management techniques.
Joining our team is a great opportunity to showcase your administrative support skills while supporting the efforts of Oregon’s special districts. You will utilize your talents to support the Property Casualty Claims Department in our Tigard office by setting up and delivering claim files to consultants, routing calls and emails to the appropriate staff person, maintaining our reception area, ordering supplies, assisting with the sorting and distribution of mail, helping to prepare for meetings, and working on projects as requested. Top-notch skills with administrative support and customer service will be key in this role.
